Ever since the first of off-shoulder dresses/ tops have been on the runway, there have been millions of girls looking at it with fascinating eyes. In 2017, almost every girl owns at least one pair of these trendy creation.
So why is there a big buzz about this style?
The basic reason – it reveals just as much and it gave rise to the peek-a-boo trend. 2nd reason – It gives an edgy feeling: Can be paired with street fashion style as well as haute couture! 3rd reason – It flows and it is flattering on daimond-shaped figures.
The Pre-Golden Globes party saw the latest of these off-shoulder dresses. Emma Stone and Amy Adams, both the nominees of Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy and Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama respectively, sizzled in the party wearing off-shoulder dresses.
Emma Stone of the La La Land fame steps in the party sporting a yellow floral off-shoulder dress with ruffles and pairing it with metallic pink tip toe strap heels. A simple and care-free dress like this is attractive on her as whenever we connect her to La La Land, we see her in the yellow dress! It is easily recognisable and who wears chrome yellow to a party! She stands out almost as quickly as she enters the Pre Golden Globes Party.
Amy Adams of the Arrival fame announces her arrival in an elegant off-shoulder dress with stylistic metallic touches and the classic black pointed pumps! The shoulder line that cuts across her skin shows the perfect contrast complementing her complexion against the black dress. Her arm is adorned with the cut out sleeve buttoned up.
The main reason why they look perfect for the occasion although they are in totally different styles of the off-shoulder outfit is because of minimalistic jewellery. That is the key!
