Hey guys! This is the first post in the Beauty section of The Rink; we are starting with these 5 awesome tips to achieve a naturally flawless look. Hope it helps you guys!
PRIME TIME
Begin by applying a hydrating preparation to give your skin a smooth finish. The primer will also act as the perfect fixating foundation. Always blot your skin with a tissue after moisturising to remove any excess surface oil.
TAKE COVER
Conceal pimples and disguise imperfections. To touch out blemishes, apply concealer with a fine-tipped brush. Dab colour onto the centre of the pimple, then feather outwards.
TOUCH BASE
Use a foundation with a built-in sunscreen. Smooth it on with your fingertips, warming it to melt into your skin. Only apply to areas that need it, where the skin tone is uneven, to disguise open pores. Excess foundation causes a fake look.
DEFINING MOMENT
Define the lower lash line with a taupe kohl pencil, and then set with a light dusting of eye-shadow (the same shade used on the eye socket). This gives a more natural look than using liner on the upper lash line.
COLOUR WASH
Use a lip liner in a shade that is similar to the natural colour of your lips. Outline and shade the entire lip area. Next, apply a reddish brown lipstick and blot with a tissue. Reapply and repeat this process several times.

Nice tips! I’ve been meaning to try using a more natural and subtle eyeliner colour for my waterline. I’m so use to using black but those days I don’t want the sultry look this would be good! Just gotta find the right shade😃
